Over the years we have been asked time and again about handyman services. Everyone always has a multitude of little projects they want done. We have tried to fill this need by searching high and low for competent, reliable workers who can do simple tasks and work for $30 – $50 an hour. We have tried older seasoned guys, young energetic types, and everything in between and are convinced that ‘competent and reliable’ does not accurately describe these guys and that’s why they work cheap. They drift from one client to another satisfying a few clients and leaving the rest with frustration and a bad experience.
This is our Solution:
Our clients call us because “competent and reliable” is what we do. However, to achieve that, we need to charge a base rate of $125 plus $90 per hour worked. We know the difference between $90 and $50 sounds like a lot. But, when you factor in efficiency with good work and pleasant experience, we think it’s not much of a difference. Those who agree are our clients. Some just want cheap and they are not a good fit for us. If you are the former, then here is how it works:
How Our Handyman Service Works
- We ask you to produce a list of everything you want done. The more items, the better the value. We often have clients wait until they have five or more items – or day to two worth of work.
- Call the office OR Click “ Request For Service” and request the package “How to Keep My Honey Happy”.
“How to Keep My Honey Happy” Package includes:
- A plan to transfer your list onto our organized form
- How to provide us digital photos via e-mail or other options (photos are helpful, but not required)
- Confirmation of our meeting to review your list
- How we bill for services
Our objective is to take care of you and your home.
